Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Create Your Therapy. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair, transparent, and supportive as possible while recognising the time, preparation, and costs involved in delivering our services.

Individual Creative Therapy Sessions

  • Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, the full session fee remains payable.

  • In exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Requests for refunds or rescheduling will be considered on an individual basis.

Workshops & Group Sessions

  • All workshop and group session bookings are subject to availability.

  • If you cancel 7 days or more before the workshop, you will receive a refund of the total booking cost, less a £10 administration fee per person.

  • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop will receive a 50% refund of the total booking cost. This reflects the preparation, venue hire, materials, and the limited number of places available.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person. Please notify Create Your Therapy before the event with the person's full name and contact details.

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Requests for refunds or transfers outside of this policy will be considered at the discretion of Create Your Therapy. Where a transfer or refund is approved outside of the standard cancellation policy, an administration fee of £10 per person may apply.

Deposits

Where a deposit is required:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

If We Need to Cancel

If Create Your Therapy needs to cancel or reschedule a session or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient participant numbers, you will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • The opportunity to transfer your booking to a future date.

Illness & Emergencies

·       If you become unwell before your session or workshop, please contact us as soon as possible. We understand that genuine emergencies can occur and will consider alternative arrangements where reasonably possible.

Where a transfer is approved, an administration fee of £10 per person will apply.

Additional Information

  • Creative Therapy is not a crisis or emergency service. If you require urgent mental health support, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services where appropriate.

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment or workshop. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid disrupting other clients or the workshop schedule. The full fee will still apply.

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for six months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.

  • Workshops require a minimum number of participants to run. If this number is not reached, Create Your Therapy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the workshop. Participants will be offered either a transfer to a future date or a full refund.

  • Create Your Therapy is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for everyone. Anyone attending a session or workshop under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive, or poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of others, may be asked to leave. In these circumstances, no refund will be issued.
