I’ve fallen in love with this Fall embossing folder by Darice. So easy to color with Distress Inks, then I used Papertrey Ink’s Birthday Tag set for the greeting. Added a few die cuts, ribbon and vintage button and it’s ready for it’s seasonal debut! Of course I’m entering it in Simon Says Stamp’s Monday Challenge as well, these contests are so much fun!
I’ve always had a thing for yellow roses, so what could be better than a few or more for a birthday celebration! In this case, they come via Papertrey Ink’s “The Sweet Life” stamp and die set. Combine purple paper from DCWV’s Shimmer Stack, cut leaves from a Circut cartridge and some yellow satin ribbon and you have a great platform to feature a Happy Birthday greeting (also from Papertrey Ink). I’ll be adding this post to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog Contest for their Summer Theme. I love their blog & contests, and I highly recommend visiting and purchasing from their store – they have great products & the best customer service! (more…)
I love embossed backgrounds with the Distressed Inks. And this frame showcases the rich texture and color scheme – really helps in making this card pop!
